The Food was amazing and the fish was fresh seasoned well. I can't wait to try something else from here. I know for sure that the whiting was delicious and flavorful. Also that coleslaw was amazing

I forgot to snap a pic, but I ordered the fried Talapia with fries and fried shrimp. The fried popcorn shrimp was a waste of time. I should have ordered regular size shrimp or another piece of fish. Service was fast and friendly. The tartar sauce was unique! It had an orange like color and was seasoned heavenly with sugar. However, it was not bad, just unique! If you don't like sugar in your sauce, this may not be a good fit for you. The 4 pieces of toast they gave was a waste of time also. Could have left it as 2 whole slices of bread so that I could have made a fish sandwich. The Talapia was prefect. I wish it came with 2 pieces instead of 1.

Saleems Fish Supreme has the best fried fish in Macon! Always HOT and you get BIGGGG pieces of fish!

i traveled from Houston TX to get a taste of saleems fish supreme i refused to eat anything for 10 hours & 38 mins all i can say is i enjoyed every bite , the people are friendly , and the food is awesome i will take a trip in 2 months and i will buy 25 fish sandwiches with sauce to bring back to TEXAS

The 87 health score and the sticky floor made me want to immediately turn around and leave. But, the honest reality is that a poor health score and sticky floor is part of the formula of having a really good fried fish place! I don't make the rules, but it's true. If the place looks too sterile, the food isn't gonna hit like you want it to. PLUS, there was a long line of people waiting to order so this was all good signs to me. I waited in line for about ten minutes to order and then another ten minutes to receive my food. I ordered the two piece whiting and the okra. Babayyy, the whiting was everything I needed it to be. Nicely seasoned with a lil crunch to it too. If you are from Macon, it's the closest thing I've found to the old school Fish Port off of Montpelier (which sadly closed many years ago). On the other hand, the okra was awful. It was clearly frozen okra, but the breading was lacking and the seasoning was nonexistent. If you're just in the mood for some bare bones good ole fish, this is a good choice.

Still a great local fish spot . Service okay but I love the sauce and the sizes of the fish.

This is Excellent Fish Spot!! I ordered onion rings and Fried trout with Cole slaw and Potato salad,Okra. it was delicious. And they are Quick 15 min . They are way faster then Moons. And black owned. IJS.will be back when I come back to GA.

SUPPORT OUR BLACK-OWNED BUSINESSES! I went to Saleem's for the first time yesterday while traveling w/friends who had learned about this restaurant by good old-fashioned word-of-mouth. Well, I truly LOVED it & I am forever stuck on this place! We decided together at that table, that we'll ALWAYS come here to eat whenever we travel to Atlanta & Macon! Being a seafood fanatic, I was amazed by their EXCELLENT menu & great prices. Whiting, Flounder, Catfish, Red Snapper, etc, etc, plus Shrimp, Okra, Fries, Onion Rings, Bean Pie, Cake, down-home quality Lemonade & Tea, and sooo much more--that Menu was delightfully HUGE & their Seafood Sauce was to die for! Finger-licking good! I ordered a 2-pc Whiting Dinner with onion rings, coleslaw, bread & sauce. They brought me two of the largest & healthiest-looking, bright-white Whiting, that I'd ever seen in a long time (Halal food is the BEST--I tell ya)! And with each bite was a delicious coating that I could actually taste the individual spices (I'd almost kill for that coating recipe)!! Again, finger-licking good!! And I got two meals out of my dinner, a great value for the price! So, my fellow Brothers & Sister's, y'all gotta stop by Saleem's in your travels--whether you're going local, statewide, or beyond. You're tastebuds & tummy will surely thank you! Peace!
